读过 海风中失落的血色馈赠 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑
在飞离纽芬兰的途中突然想起这本曾在国内翻开,最终半途而废的短篇小说集。重新阅读,我终于能够想象故事的舞台——原来,这是属于Cape Breton的故事;当然,其实也是属于整个北大西洋加拿大的故事。今天的旅人们,恐怕很难想象在“加东最美景观公路”的历史深处,是苏格兰移民,是矿工,是渔民,是与自然不懈的搏斗和共存,是充满无声叹息的易碎生命。篇目之中比较喜欢《船》:有很深的感情和内涵,但叙事风格过于传统,像是语文书里会出现的篇目。

读过 Other Rivers 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
把这本书和"Eat the Buddha"并列着一起读,就更能感受到何伟在观察生活和组织材料方面的本领:中国和美国、涪陵与成都、九十年代和现在……那些平凡生活中的不平凡的种种被温柔地交织起来,魔法般地成为交响乐,主题可能是——“Everything has changed, nothing has changed”。读这本书难免会激起某些对疫情的PTSD,但是还是非常感谢何伟的记录,因为我发现自己已开始遗忘。
