Liked it, didn't love it. A perfectly enjoyable horror/thriller/comedy with a charmingly campy quality that kept me constantly wondering if director/writer/lead actor Jim Cummings is deliberately playing with the cheesy lines of stock dialogue or if that shit's just lazy writing - guess i have to watch his earlier films to find out. Intentional or not, it certainly adds to the quirky vibes, as much as does Riki Lindhome's performance as an awkward but wise detective Julia Robson, delivering some of the best laughs in this.
