Intense. Really good acting. The story isn’t monotonous and has little tonal changes that keep scenes fresh. Even laugh out loud funny at times. Dark comedy. Pacing was maybe a little slow at times? Reminded me of the more serious Coen Bros films at first. The Coens never really get this dark or raw. The ending reminded me of the scene in Marathon Man (1976) in which Holocaust survivors recognize a Nazi war criminal.
