a review of 1922

Two weeks after watching the reasonably mediocre Gerald's Game on Netflix, I decided to try 1922, also based on a Stephen King story. I liked 1922 better than Gerald's Game. I liked the sober, isolated countryside atmosphere, the stoic farmer, the photography getting bleaker along with the farmer's mental deterioration, and the fact that each horror scene was probably a delirium of the farmer, similar to the mental collapse of Jack Torrance in The Shining.
