Pretty standard 70s "bad cop" action thriller, at times unintentionally comical in its adherece to established genre tropes and cliches. If you're familiar with japanese action/crime movies of its time, you'll find nothing too smart or original about it. It would make for a decent 90 minutes of dumb escapism if i were able to overlook the rampant misogyny on display here, going as far as outright glorifying rape. This is, sadly, par for the course in genre flicks of its era and japanese ones in particular.
