a review of 杀人回忆

Memories of Murder could be called the Korean version of David Fincher's Zodiac. A film based on true events involving a series of murders. Memories of Murder is a well-made, decent flick, but suffers a bit from long-windedness. Furthermore, the movie is larded with whimsical 1970s style slapstick-like humor, which distracted me from the predominantly serious plot.
