a review of 鬼追人2

Rewatched both part 1 and part 2 of Phantasm shortly after each other. The first time I saw both movies was back when part 2 was just released: in the late 1980s. I have to say that I prefer the first Phantasm. It has more of a naive, campy pulp quality, although the second part is a bit more structured and obviously has a larger budget. The metal spheres and The Tall Man are classic concepts, and the cheesy 1980s humor is nostalgically likable for an old fart like me.
