The Rat Catcher (2023)

As is often the case with Wes Anderson's films, in my humble opinion, The Rat Catcher is another case of form over function. The way the story is told is original and well-designed, but the nervous, non-stop, monotonous narration and the continuously expressionless faces turned it into a yawn-inducing experience for me. I understand that it's meant to be absurdist, but it just didn't work for me. Last but not least, I also missed a satisfactory ending, but that might be attributed to Roald Dahl.
