Visually good, gets the Max Payne look down pretty well and Wahlberg is a good choice for playing Max. They got some things right with the gunfights too but they aren't as signature Payne, bullet time is used too sparingly and a particular low was Max running straight while awkwardly shooting sideways.

Where they lost me was the often nonsensical plot and the completely unmemorable soundtrack, I can't believe they just skipped the Max Payne theme from the first game when that is one of the things still permanently stuck in my head all these decades later. There should also be more of Max being a badass and voiceovers to really pay tribute to the games.
