a review of 剪刀手爱德华

As a youngster, I saw an exclusive preview of Edward Scissorhands in an Amsterdam movie theater during a festival in 1990. It was a very pleasant surprise. Being a total romantic at the time, and identifying with the misunderstood outcast character, Scissorhands became my coming-of-age film. A large Scissorhands movie poster got a prominent place in my room, Johnny Depp became my man crush (although that diminished later on), and Danny Elfman’s magical soundtrack became my most-played CD. Sweet memories. ❤️
