Damn, korean thrillers never seem to fail at delivering the goods and this survival thriller genre piece is no exception. But for all of its rock-solid craftsmanship and bone-chilling effectiveness, this is a film i can only respect rather than love, the main reason being that with all the true crime oversaturation of recent years, i'm kinda fed up with the concept of "serial killers as entertainment". Plus, it's the year 2023 and you can be assured that i just about got the message that men are trash and I've just about seen enough of men being trash in movies to conclude: Yeah, we are trash alright. Now can we please have some movies in which men aren't trash for a change? Thanks in advance!
