a review of 垃圾男孩

Trash left me with mixed feelings, because the movie is an odd mix of light-hearted children's adventure and serious drama dealing with heavy matter. This strange blend also weakens the moral message the movie wants to convey about corruption, poverty and injustice in Brazil. Apart from this, the child actors deserve praise for their convincing performances.
