a review of 超能陆战队

Big hero 6 is a mix of all kinds of obvious influences. I recognized references to The Incredibles, Doc Ock from Spider-Man, The Matrix and even Robocop. Baymax is a great, huggable character creation, but I found the other characters superficial, and the plot too predictable. The whole movie felt too much targeted at kids, who have to buy Disney's movie merchandise. The impressively refined 3D rendering quality and massive display of polygons, particles and other CG couldn't save the movie for me. And that song, my god, that song. Whoever came up with that should be fired immediately. :)
