Midsommar - Review

Another one i’ve been kinda late to seek out. While even more polarizing than Ari Aster’s previous film Hereditary, in my book this is an instant classic. An endlessly fascinating piece of art that i’m sure to seek out a few times more to wrap my head around. As emotionally devastating as it can be at times, it works equally good as a sharp satire or psychological drama. For all the death and despair it depicts, it has a rather hopeful story about emotional healing at its core.
