Another french-made neo giallo by the writer/director duo of Hélène Cattet & Bruno Forzani, this is a bit of a step up from the already great Amer (2009), although this will probably divide audiences just as much as its predecessor with its intentionally vague, borderline-freudian, dream logic-driven plot made to be understood on an emotional rather than logical level, highly stylized photography and editing. For me though, this is pure visual ecstasy - cinema in its purest form. If you have a certain taste for the lynchian, surreal as well as macabre; if you are fine with a film giving you riddles instead of answers, you're gonna have a blast with this one.
