Kon-Tiki (2012)Kon-Tiki is an impressive Norwegian piece of filmmaking, based on the true story of a scientist longing to personally prove in 1947 that more than 1500 years ago people were able to sail from South America to Polynesia on a raft. Kon-Tiki is a story about perseverance and comradeship. The cinematography is beautiful, and some of the scenes are awe-inspiring, such as the shark scenes, which reduce the Jaws characters to a bunch of pussies. 😁
