The Hands of Orlac - Review

Another great one directed by Robert Wiene of Caligari fame. So far the earliest example i’ve seen of the “misbehaving murderous transplant” trope, although - as is to be expected in a Wiene flick - this stuff is leaning heavily towards psychological horror territory. Spectacular performance by Conrad Veidt in an appropriately frightening embodiment of Paul Orlac’s tormented soul.
