a review of 恐怖小店

i first saw this on an extremely cheap dvd from a discount store, one of those ones that might even just be in thin cardboard. i've seen it a few times. i kind of love Roger Corman and what he could do with so little, and i mean it was shot in two days. but tonight was a watchalong with a bunch of people who had only seen the musical and kept saying this wasn't as good, even though the musical wouldn't exist without it and i just... i was one of the few that had somehow seen this but not the musical. not on purpose or anything. no snob reasons. it does have some really great moments i think. Jack Nicholson's masochist dental patient reading a magazine just named PAIN for example. anyway. it's Roger Corman! This is the B movie watchalong! You know what you're getting yourself into!
