Night of the Comet - Review

This was a movie a person can like if they turn off some of their critical faculties. It's an end of the world movie that focuses on two sisters as the main characters, and ups the ante with a gang of sinister scientific types whose plan doesn't really get explained super clearly. Extra special for viewers who are interested in 1980s fashion and hairstyling. Also a showdown in a shopping mall that comes out of nowhere and goes away without a ripple. There is lots of death, some of it violent, but not particularly heart-wrenching involving characters the viewer comes to like. And what happens after the final scene is open to all sorts of speculation.
