I was a returning player from one of the first batches two decades ago. I can truly say that 20 years later, the game has gotten worse in terms of management.

1. Filled with bots
2. RMT (Real Money Trading) is rampant
3. Griefing, Ganking, and Corpse Camping is encouraged
4. Toxicity in chat is the norm

The game was not like this 20 years ago. They are basically just letting the game online because it is still making them enough money to justify it.

If you want to earn yourself, farm gold, level up characters, and then sell them. There are players who regularly buy gold and accounts for a decent amount. No one gets banned, feel free to use the in-game world chat for your ads and transactions.

That is, of course, if you can tolerate the countless bots, toxicity in global chat, and the constant corpse camping, ganking, and griefing.
