The House (2022)The House turned out to be a pleasant discovery, original and imaginative, atmospheric, surreal, uncanny, sometimes downright creepy and sometimes quite humorous. Each of the three parts has its own distinctive style and appeal. If you’d ask me to choose a favorite part, I guess that would be the second part, which felt like a short by Tim Burton on drugs. The dancing bugs scene was hallucinant. Last but not least, an animated film featuring the voices of Helena Bonham Carter and Jarvis Cocker almost couldn’t go wrong for me.
