a review of 骑劫地下铁

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three didn’t disappoint, and hasn’t become dated. There’s an effective tension build-up, solid characters and performances, lots of pleasant sarcasm and scolding throughout the film, and looking at the scenario and certain elements, this film probably provided some inspiration for Speed (1994), the Die Hard series of films (1988 – …) and Reservoir Dogs (1992). I won’t go into details why I think so, to avoid spoilers.
