a review of 异魔禁区

After reading a number of positive reviews of Dagon, and considering the fact that it's based on a Lovecraft story, I was intrigued. But nope, this one wasn't my cup o' tea. Each of the B-actors irritated me right from the start, and the 3D graphics were so obviously not real that I could only think in the likes of: "Wow, they used a basic sine curve for those water waves". This could have worked in a campy way, but it didn't, because both the actors and the CGI were trying too hard to be taken seriously. So I turned it off after about 15 minutes, to avoid more boredom and annoyance.
