a review of 我想结束这一切

While i didn't quite warm up to Charlie Kaufman's previous film Anomalisa (i have to give that one another try, though...), his latest one - just about as polarizing as Synecdoche, New York was at its time - is right up my alley again. Although it turns out to be, on a purely logical level, a rather straightforward story once you watched and thought the whole thing through, its emotional depth, its diffuse layers of meaning and deeper truths about the human condition will surely keep on fascinating and puzzling me long into the future.
