I've got very mixed feelings about this documentary. Initially, I was reasonably enchanted by the remarkable friendship between man and octopus, and the cinematography is gorgeous. But soon two things started to annoy me: the feeling that some things were lied about for the sake of the story, such as the supposed extensive time frame of the underwater adventure. But what irritated me most was the overly present ego of the documentary maker, as well as the overly dramatic way he told the story.
