a review of 从足球流氓到黑帮崛起

The ruthless criminals and raw violence in Rise of the Footsoldier make every Hollywood-style criminal look like a pussy. This is not a movie for the faint of heart, and may leave you with a bad taste in your mouth, especially because it is based on true events. I like the fact that none of the main characters induce sympathy. There is no glorification of their actions, and no moralism, just matter-of-factness. The 1990 House party was portrayed so strikingly that it gave me a nostalgic flashback to my youngster days.
