The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki (2012)

I'm chary of very high ratings, but in my humble opinion Wolf Children definitely deserves much praise. Wolf Children is one of the rare films that already brought tears to my eyes purely by its sheer poetic beauty. The film oozes a timeless delightfulness that makes you want to leap into your screen and be part of it. One of the many things I liked about Wolf Children is that the wolves fantasy element can be interpreted metaphorically, to reflect the difficulties of life when you're not blended into society. Wolf Children grabs your heart and squeezes it, but it also makes your heart glow. And that's what great storytelling should induce. I shall gladly add it to my list of all-time favorite films.
