a review of 格拉德贝克人质危机

A mesmerizing documentary about a 1988 bank robbery and subsequent hostage drama in Germany, that turned into a bizarre, surreal media circus, where gathered journalists live-interviewed the fatalistic main bank robber multiple times, while he held a gun in his hand, and while his accomplices held a bus full of passengers hostage. It wouldn’t surprise me if this event was an inspiration for Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers (1994).
