Dream No Evil - Review

Part of Arrow Film’s American Horror Project anthology. This flick is some variation of the Psycho theme, told from the perspective of the deluded murderer. For a 70’s independent B-Movie, this has some strong acting performances but doesn’t steer clear of some sleaze and odd choices, which might put off many casual viewers as well as delight some B-movie afficinados. One interesting choice is that the film doesn’t even try to obscure the line between reality and delusion, with a narrator voice even explicitly stating where the “dream” begins.
