a review of 杂牌军东征

I remember watching Stripes in a local movie theatre as a kid, when it was released. I also remember that it made me laugh out loud back then. So I decided to try Stripes again as a cynical old fart in 2017. I kind of liked the first half of the film, where a young Bill Murray is already himself, which is all he needs to be. But in the second half the plot goes downhill as it turns into a boring farce with hysterical goofball situations that were typical for the 1970s and 1980s, but just don't work anymore.
