Straight On Till Morning (1972)

As a 1970s kid I'm easily attracted to films from that decade, but, as in any decade, it can be hit or miss. Hammer House of Horror has somewhat of a reputation of quantity over quality, and it's a matter of luck finding a real gem among their extensive oeuvre. Straight On Till Morning soon got on my nerves with its confusing cuts between present time, past events and parallel events. The naive acting and 1970s camera zooms didn't add to my experience, and I felt the need to stop after watching around 15 minutes, which is my magic number of minutes for knowing if a film is going to work out for me or not.
