a review of 禁忌星球

watching an actually good movie during the usually-b watchalong is an interesting experience. one reason i think everyone should watch bad movies is to reset their expectations when they watch a good one. we've all seen the cheap sci fi, now see the one so many things cribbed from. but yeah i find everything around Alta and the crew's reaction to her really uncomfortable, no matter how cute baby Leslie Nielsen is. she does get some good burns in though like "I'm sure that was very clever but I'm afraid I don't understand it" definitely here for the sets and early electronic score by Bebe and Louis Barron which i have been blown away by both times I've seen this
