a review of 死亡高潮

Deathgasm put me in a time machine back to my puberty, when my favorite pastime was watching gore horror movies on VHS tapes all through the night with Metal music loving friends, devouring tons of potato chips and cheering whenever someone was decapitated. Deathgasm is a hilarious, campy mash-up of Peter Jackson's Braindead (a.k.a. Dead Alive), Sam Raimi's Evil Dead, Mike Judge's Beavis & Butthead, and the Bill & Ted movies. Some scenes made me laugh my ass off as if I was 16 years old again. Deathgasm is a movie for lovers of absurd, adolescent, cartoonish humor. It worked for me. I guess I've never grown up, although the Scotch definitely played a rejuvenating role here.
