The Hunger - Review
The movie is I think not intended to be understood all the way through, but appreciated for its stylish elements. The actors headlining it are all pretty well able to sell anything the writers give them to say, and the animals featured have important roles to play as they lend an unsettling sense to the film. The soundtrack is all over the place and refuses to go where you think it is going to go. Lots of gore and nudity the way 1980s movies tend to play with. I can see why some people would like this sort of thing, but it didn't really leave much of an impression on me.
