a review of

I saw this on a stream and didn't realize it was a rerelease where some infamous transphobic scenes were cut out, so this is a review of the release with the cuts only. I'll say as someone who had actually not seen it before and had no idea, those scenes were not missed but it would have been harder to watch if I had known they *had* been there.

I couldn't help but enjoy this because this character reminds me of my dad in a lot of ways. He's a mountain man and when he gets confronted with stuff in the big city, it's the city that's wrong, not him. I always wished I could emulate that energy a little better. Sweet ending in the subway.
