This is an interesting one to watch through the lens of trauma and the things that people do to be able to get through it and move forward with their lives. i think (hope) that returning to this site gave Juliane some sense of closure and control and also helped to dispel some myths about what happened, as were perpetuated in the fictionalized film where her character almost seems helpless. What an interesting and competent lady. Also just because she doesn't emote the way that people expect does not mean she was going through this like a zombie. I find that response to be a little troubling. One example is the closeup of her tightly holding her husband's hand while they are on the plane.
