Earth vs. the Flying Saucers - Review
This movie had Ray Harryhausen effects but not the most flashy version of his work. It has an alien invasion plot with the Earth defended by a lot of white men who develop an ultrasonic gun to even things up against the alien disintegration technology. The aliens also fool around with the Sun in the process to up the pressure on the Earthlings. Half the fun is enjoying the midcentury vibe of the production.
