Weekender (1992)A spot-on portrayal of being young, going out and having a good time in the early 1990s. I had this on VHS video tape, and often watched it with the volume turned up before going out in those years. It really stirred you up, but it also very effectively portrays the other side of the coin — the cold and lonely feeling afterwards, which is reflected in the song's lyrics as well. The turntable scene with the needle chasing the main character is also very cool, as is the existential scene with the circle of life sculpture in the store window.
