a review of 克朗普斯

I'd describe Krampus as an entertaining blend between Poltergeist and The Nightmare Before Christmas. I've been waiting a long time for the cool vintage Krampus demon character to be used in a film, and I quite liked this incarnation-with-a-wink. The movie has got a pleasant 1980s atmosphere, the soundtrack is great, the creature designs and overall art direction are impressive, and I consider the opening scene with the slow-motion Xmas shopping massacre to be an instant classic. Watch Krampus without high expectations, and you'll probably enjoy it like I did.
