A Wolf at the Door turned out to be a very solid Brazilian drama / thriller. The plot was not predictable, the camera work was effective, with attractive compositions and slow movements, the lighting was atmospheric, and the performances were very good, particularly of the female main character, whom I'd describe as a radiant love child of Alyssa Milano and Mariah Carey.
