Now that was some unexpectedly wholesome, weirdly utopian and freakin' awesome shit! I don't think a film about defeating fascism, smashing patriarchy, what else? Um... something something capitalism? The importance of getting vaccinated? Yeah, why not! Where was i... Oh yeah, i don't think i've ever had so much fun with a film about all that. A fantastical, whimsical and plain ridiculous journey. Plot-wise, imagine a mix of a Wes Anderson flick, oldschool Ghibli, Adventure Time, early Terry Gilliam... some flashes of Zazie dans le Métro (1960) maybe? It took me a bit to warm-up to the cel-shaded 3D animation but here - along with playful mix-and-match digital compositions - the technique results in a fairly unique and charming visual style.
