Meh… i didn’t think i would ever be this bored by a Buster Keaton feature, although i’ve already been warned about his first feature-length effort not being among his most original works.

Certainly not helping is the score on my german edition DVD, which is just about as bland as the movie itself, while not even trying to correlate or sync up to the action onscreen.

This one and The Saphead are the only pre-MGM Keaton features not (yet?) included in any of the UK Eureka/MOC bluray box sets. I suspect there will be a Vol. 4 with these two alongside The Cameraman. In any case, the latter has been released in the US by Criterion, so i might just give that one a go.
