a review of 疾速追杀

This film was like watching a violent gameplay recording, containing all the hackneyed movie cliches you can think of. The bad guys are Russian mafia, the protagonist is rich, good looking, a great driver and a perfect sharp shooter who can dodge bullets. And the plot? A hundred people had to die because of a killed puppy and a stolen car. No credibility, no depth. Everything felt so ridiculous that I could barely wait till the end credits relieved me from this superfluous production. I guess I'm too old for this shit. But having said that, I do enjoy a well-made gunfight opera, but I'll leave that to John Woo. 😎
