a review of 飞黄腾达

I really liked The Apprentice. Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong did a great job playing Donald Trump and Roy Cohn, and director Ali Abbasi successfully managed to portray the young Trump as an almost endearing wannabe, and gradually reveal the narcissistic face behind the jovial mask. It was also great to see Martin Donovan as Fred Trump. I love his roles in Hal Hartley’s films.
