Part of the Third Window Films (UK) & Rapid Eye Movies (Germany) Pink Film anthology. I’m once again surprised by the variety of genres and subject matter covered by this still active niche industry of softcore arthouse erotic flicks in Japan. This time we get a very low key, understated family drama where the words not being said carry the most importance. The whole thing kinda plays out like a very horny Ozu film.
