a review of 希特勒回来了

Er ist wieder da (original German title) made me laugh out loud a few times, and the Nazi parallels with modern day opinions and politics are interesting food for thought, but the execution is a bit flawed. I really liked the clearly improvised, Sacha Baron Cohen character style real discussions, reflecting modern day sentiments, but the film loses its momentum multiple times, especially towards the end, and suffers from amateuristic acting. Oliver Masucci did a good job though, portraying a Hitler who's both comical and charismatic.
