Amanda turned out to be a warm, disarming portrait of a sympathetic young man who faces the dilemma of having to take care of his little niece due to unexpected circumstances. The performances feel impressively authentic, especially those of the main characters: the young uncle and his little niece. I've rarely seen actors cry so heartfelt. They gave me a lump in my throat the size of the Titanic.
