a review of 超人总动员2

Although I'm an admirer of Brad Bird's The Iron Giant and The Incredibles, it took three years before I finally saw the second Incredibles film. I guess that was partly because I was a bit afraid the sequel would disappoint compared to the original, which is one of my favorite Pixar films. But The Incredibles 2 turned out to be an amusing, action-packed follow-up. It didn't excite me as much as the first film, but it was a skillfully executed, solid piece of entertainment. As far as I'm concerned, the highlight was the baby's raccoon encounter, which made me laugh out loud. If I'd need to mention something negative, the action sequences were a tad too explosive and hectic to my liking, causing me to barely be able to keep up with what was going on. But that might also be an indication of me getting a little old. Just a little bit. 👨‍🦳
