- HoM Star Trek: A Special Tribute to Walter Koenig and Sir Patrick Stewart.
sinopsis
"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. But I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey, and reminds us to cherish every moment because they'll never come again. What we leave behind is not as important how we've lived. After all, Number One, we're only mortal."
It's been a hard week and a period of deep mourning for the Star Trek community, with the loss of both Walter Koenig, the original Pavel Chekov, and Sir Patrick Stewart, the legendary Jean-Luc Picard. At a time like this, it didn't feel appropriate to carry on with our usual Hit or Miss: Star Trek schedule, and so this week's planned episode has been postponed until next Sunday (November 8th). In its place, host and show creator Michael Wilson wanted to take this opportunity to pay tribute to two fine actors, particularly one who has arguably impacted his life more than any other actor or character. He shares his own eulogies, a personal anecdote or two, and some raw feelings. We've also invited friends of the podcast to contribute, and several have come forward with their own written, audio and video tributes, which we've included in this special episode. We hope you'll join us in celebrating two of Star Trek's greats, and allow us this moment of sadness and reflection. Their legacies are truly in the stars now. We will remember them.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honour of Sir Patrick Stewart may be made to:

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this episode.
"I was never that young."
"No. You were younger."
