由于父辈之间是好友，个性开朗粗犷的少年树多村光（入野自由 配音）和月岛若叶（神田朱未 配音）成为了青梅竹马的好友，两人间有着以甲子园为舞台的美好约定。没想到，11岁时，若叶不幸落水身亡，在悲痛之中，光将两人的梦想默默的埋藏在了心底。作为若叶的妹妹，青叶（户松遥 配音）所感受到的悲伤是他人的数倍，可是，从小就热衷于棒球运动的她选择了咬紧牙关，以实际行动来祭奠姐姐的去世。
